Who are your products for?

Are your products suitable for people with breast cancer or a history of hormone-sensitive cancers?
We understand that if you've experienced breast cancer—especially hormone-receptor-positive (ER+) types—you may be mindful of ingredients that contain plant-based compounds known as phytoestrogens. Some of our formulas include low levels of natural botanicals that contain these compounds, such as:
- Sesame oil – used at 2% in our cleanser for its skin-softening and barrier-supporting properties.
- Licorice root extract – included at 0.5% in our day serum to help soothe redness and inflammation.
These ingredients are used topically and in very low concentrations, and current research suggests they are unlikely to be absorbed at levels that affect systemic hormone balance. That said, every person’s health journey is unique, and we encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider if you have concerns about any ingredients.

Do your products contain phytoestrogens?
Some of our ingredients—like sesame oil and licorice root—do contain natural plant compounds with mild estrogen-like activity. These are called phytoestrogens and are used for their soothing, antioxidant, and skin barrier-supporting benefits. However, the levels in our formulations are very low and not intended to have any hormonal effect.

Do you offer products that are completely free from phytoestrogens?
We are currently working on a line of oncology-conscious formulas that are free from ingredients with phytoestrogenic properties.
